  1. So, you want me to tell you the story of my life?  
  2. Once upon a time, many, many years ago (about 26) there was no me, then one
  3. day there was and the world had that much more BS to contend with ;)
  4. Okay, I'll get serious, but enjoy it, it doesn't happen often.
  5. May 22, 1970, Kelli Anne Hudson was born in Philadelphia, the first of six
  6. children.  We moved to beautiful Paradise, Naples-on-the-Gulf, Florida.  Here
  7. I went to school, aged (I'll never grow up), and I am still stuck...er...I
  8. mean living here.  With my parents, I own a card and gift shop that keeps me
  9. busy and keeps me from getting into too much trouble.  I work a good 60+
  10. hours a week at it and I wouldn't trade it for the world.  Now if I could
  11. just make my first million and retire to write my book.  Yes, I am one of
  12. those eternal procrastinators who like to call themselves writers.  I write,
  13. I rewrite, I stop writing, I curse writing, I swear I will never write again
  14. and then I write somemore.  I have about a hundred half plots going and a
  15. million scenes written. Enough outlines and ideas to choke a horse.  But I do
  16. have the dedication written, that's getting somewhere.  :)

  18. Besides trying to write, I am a voracious reader...I will read anything I can
  19. get my hands on, as many times as I can.  My books are slowly taking over my
  20. bedroom, at last count I had 1000 and I just keep buying them.  By far my
  21. favorite author is (drumroll)  Anne Rice, in all of her incarmations.
  22. Without geting too spiritual on you, her writing has had an incredible impact
  23. on my life.  I found a hero when I did not know I was looking for one.  The
  24. first time I read about Lestat, I knew that I had found a creature that
  25. showed me what I was and what I stood to become.  In reading her books I took
  26. a spiritual journey and found out a lot of things about myself that I did not
  27. know.  The short version:  I overcame many fears and found many more answers
  28. inside of myself that I never knew I held.  Enough of that...besides Anne
  29. Rice I adore the writing of John Jakes, the first few VC Andrews series
  30. (before they weirded out), Dostoyevsky, Dave Barry, Nelson DeMille, and
  31. Voltaire.  I could never list all of the books that I love, but most of them
  32. have one thing in common...an underlying religious and/or moral theme.  I
  33. read to be entertained but I have to have something to think about so I seek
  34. out those books that I can sink my teeth into (heehee Vampire pun intended)  
  35.  
  36.  Besides my books, I love music...all music.  My favorite is the big band era
  37. music.  I swoon at the sound of Dean Martin, Perry Como or Der Bingle. And I
  38. am not afraid to admit that I love Barry Manilow (stop laughing). I saw him
  39. in concert last year and I wept when he walked out on stage.  The man is a
  40. genius, 'nuff said.  Speaking of genius, I have two words for you "Dennis
  41. Miller".  I like my comedy with a side of sarcasm.

  43. I'm single, I have no children but I make my siblings' life difficult by
  44. spoiling my 2 nephews and two nieces.  And my sister is getting ready to
  45. grace us with another baby in the family.  I adore children and will do
  46. anything to see a smile on those precious faces.  Then again, I do that for
  47. anyone.  I like to see people happy and I'll do anything I can to make anyone
  48. smile.  "I do not think I could go on if I did not believe in the possibility

  51. I'm one of those annoying dual-natured Geminis.   I either sit so quietly
  52. that one wonders if I am still breathing, or I chatter and move around like a
  53. whirlwind until everyone wonders if I will ever shut up.  Believe me, it's
  54. not easy to stop me from talking once you get me going.  One of my favorite
  55. things to do is sit up all night with a worthwhile companion (and Mr. Coffee
  56. and my cigarettes) and ponder the meaning of life or just laugh ourselves
  57. silly.  My two best friends live far away, in North Carolina and Michigan, so
  58. I spend alot of time alone or with my siblings.  My parents are two of my
  59. great friends and I feel very lucky to be able to say that.

  62. Anyway, I should publish this as my first book...ya think?  ;)  Well, I guess
  63. I'll shut up, right after I say one more thing.  I've been going through a
  64. rather rough time lately and I want to thank all of you who have been here
  65. for me and cheered me up even though you didn't know you were doing it.  It
  66. is such a joy to know that anytime, day or night, if I am sad or depressed
  67. one of you is around to make me laugh and remember that it is for the joy of
  68. communicating with others that I exist.  To all of you who I have met...I
  69. look forward to seeing you again in the future.  And to all of you that
  70. haven't been subjected to me...when you do meet me, I have one thought for
  71. you.  Do not get me talking unless you have a couple of hours to spare  :)
